Royal Ascot all done and a meeting for the Bookies I suspect
We had a decent Royal Ascot with 11 lay selections and just 2 of those went on to win. We've managed to claw some back over the week and it should have been more but for some strange drifts just before the off. Rousham started it on the 14th and it finished yesterday with Dojin. The latter was only a 5 runner race and we had our price right up to the last 5 minutes when it suddenly went out over 2 points. Ups and downs of Horse Racing
May saw a lot of positive green days enabling us to make a profit of £200 on the month. June starts okay, we’re using the system process as May and then wallop you get 2 disaster days, and the profit is wiped out. Processes have been the same so why the sudden hit. Changeover Time
I haven't posted for a while which is remiss of me, but AI seemed to take over a lot creating posts for me !! I'm always worried about April as i view it as the "Changeover" month where trainers bring out a few hidden horses. The flat tends to be horses primed for an opening salvo to get a few wins under the belt whilst National hunt the grounds a bit better and suddenly there a few nice priced winners.
