Boxing Day awaits…

Simon Rigby

Not the end of the week I was hoping for, and we are around £45 down.

Two ends of the bookcase yesterday with Daaris being a researched loser and Enola Grey being a completely misread race.

Hopefully todays have been read correctly and they do look strong…famous last words.

Nothing until Boxing Day now when we currently have 11 race meetings scheduled.

The downside with the day is that tend to be horses that are duel booked, and we don’t know until the morning which course they will run at. It isn’t normally a problem with 5 or 6 meetings but with 11, I’ll start the research the night before.

Depending on the number of selections that develop, I may have to simply put up the names of the horses initially and once they are on site by 1200 hrs fill in the rationale.

That way there is no delay selection wise if it turns out to be a hectic one.

It’s business as usual once the next 3 days are over and hopefully we can move in the right direction.

I wish you all a Happy Xmas and an entertaining New Year.
