Has the tide turned or is it still a case of King Canute?

Simon Rigby

A loss of £88 on the week which perversely is better than it has been!

I’ve delved more into Sire stats and other Trainer areas in an attempt to change the fortunes. It has worked to some degree but I’m still finding a winner that wipes the day.

I know it doesn’t seem it but, a 3 or 4 day swing out of the 25 days this month and we are close to having the bank intact. A couple of late entries have also been unkind so maybe I need to rethink them.

Hopefully the one good thing is that you can see why I’m selecting these horses. I try to cover as much as I can in the write ups to give a view which you can at least understand even if you are sceptical.

Yes, my race reading has got it wrong, and stats are completely blown away at times – Georges Lad. That is the unfortunate thing with stats, you can highlight the 5% strike rate but, that is over all runners, so you are hoping that the trend continues, and you have other information to support taking it on.

I have now started to include the Lay of the Day that I use for Racing Profits Telegram as part of the site’s selections. If I don’t get a minimum of 4 selections then the Racing Profit Telegram doesn’t get a selection.

Onwards and hopefully upwards towards bank recovery and using other punters money.
